All of the therapists at Counseling South Austin are LPC interns who receive their supervision and training in house.
We do not offer practicum or field placements at this time.
The clinic director is interested in partnering with motivated LPC interns who wish to build their own private practice one day.
To that end, monthly practice-building meetings are a part of the community support that therapists receive at Counseling South Austin, alongside weekly supervision.
Each staff therapist is an independent contractor and is responsible for scheduling their own intakes and appointments.
While the clinic director will help each intern learn the ins and outs of running a business and generating referrals, it is up to the LPC intern to build their own caseload.
Space is furnished onsite where LPC interns may see clients and store files.
