“It took me quite a long time to develop a voice, and now that I have it, I am not going to be silent.” —Madeleine Albright
Are you searching for your voice but don’t know where to begin?
Do you feel like you’re too much and not enough all at the same time?
Are you craving new, enduring and healthy relationships but don’t know how to find them?
Do you want a more peaceful, satisfying relationship with your body or sexual desires? If so, you have found the right place to explore your identity and relationships in a supportive, compassionate and judgment-free environment.
Many of us judge our own emotions too harshly and question whether or not we deserve the space we take up. There may be others in your life that tell you that you feel too much or are “too over-emotional”. Often, we internalize these messages and believe we are to blame. But your emotions are valid and deserve to be tended to.
Many people, especially women, receive messages from our society and culture that our bodies are not worthy. Some receive these messages from within, or from relationships with others. We may feel like we must shrink, make ourselves smaller, regardless of the toll it takes on our life. I believe that enjoying and celebrating out bodies in spite of negative cultural conditioning is one of the most loving and powerful things we can do for our mental health.
Do you want to learn how to ask for what you want and how to find pleasure that feels empowering? I am a sex-worker positive and sex-work affirming therapist with experience working with women in the sex-work industry. As a sex positive therapist, one of my aims is to help clients befriend and celebrate their sexuality without shame.
Exploring yourself and finding your voice may sound daunting, but you don’t have to take on this journey alone. I am passionate about offering an empathetic and empowering space for women to explore their relationships with themselves, others, and their bodies. I use person-centered and feminist approaches to support my clients in finding their voice and exploring what brings them joy.
